The Kingwin SSD Hard Drive Mounting Kit is a useful tool for those wanting to convert two 2.5" solid-state drives into a 3.5" drive bay. Customers found the installation to be quick and easy, and the kit includes all necessary screws for mounting the SSD to the case. However, the package does not include a SATA cable or the screws required to attach the case to your tower. It is made from aluminum which can break easily. It is recommended for use in a PC tower with a 3.5" bay and could fit nicely into a Drobo if you want to install a 2.5" SSD. The mount does not have holes through the bottom for using it as a 3.5" bay's bottom holes. It may not fit 15mm hard drives such as the Seagate 5TB drive. The product worked well in HP dc7800 small form factor business computers, but it is unknown if it will fit a Mac computer.
