However, they are pretty loud, and without a speed controller, the sound level can be unbearable. Despite the noise level, these fans are very effective at moving lots of air and they are pre-wired for easy installation. The product is good quality, despite some problems with packaging and screws. The fan grills and screws could be better designed and implemented, but overall these fans are durable and easy to install.
