Genre Editorial Review
**** The collection titled *Commando Presents: Braddock: 1* has resonated well with fans of vintage comics and war narratives. Readers appreciate the engaging storytelling, with particular praise for the standout tale "I flew with Braddock," which showcases impressive writing despite being targeted towards younger audiences. The anthology offers a nostalgic journey back to the days of classic comics, appealing to both older enthusiasts and younger readers alike who are keen to explore tales from WWII. The overall reception highlights a mix of ongoing admiration for the collection's individual stories, each contributing uniquely to the Braddock saga. However, some opinions indicate a slight mismatch in quality, especially pointing out that newer artworks in the book don't hold up against their predecessors. There is also feedback regarding minor errors in the historical context provided within the text. Despite these critiques, which primarily focus on the presentation of the stories rather than their content, the book is deemed a worthwhile read. Many customers express a desire for more releases from DC Thomson, indicating that the nostalgia factor and historical themes resonate deeply with them. In summary, *Commando Presents: Braddock: 1* is a beloved addition to the realm of comic collections, greatly appreciated for its storytelling, even if there are minor qualms regarding artwork and additional context. **
