The cooler has been reported to be amazingly quiet and excellent for keeping the cpu temperature down, even during heavy duty tasks such as gaming or video editing. The fan on the cooler, however, has been reported to be prone to faults, which has caused overheating in some customers' processors. Overall, the be quiet Dark Rock Slim is found to be good value for money, both effective and practically silent in operation.
