The Coby CVR-22 Portable Cassette Recorder by Coby offers a shoebox-style tape deck with easy, one-touch controls for recording and playing. It features a built-in microphone, auto-stop function, and dynamic stereo speaker. The recorder can be powered using the included AC adapter or 4 C batteries. However, based on customer reviews, the recording quality of this cassette recorder is poor, regardless of whether the built-in mic or an external mic is used. The speaker produces low-quality sound with a lot of noise, making it difficult to enjoy the audio. The machine itself also produces unwanted noise. Additionally, the absence of clear labeling on the buttons and symbols instead of words can be confusing for older individuals who may have trouble understanding which buttons to press. This product did not meet the expectations of one customer who purchased it for their mother to listen to Bible tapes. Despite these drawbacks, one customer found the recorder suitable for "art" purposes, specifically for Musique concrète. This customer appreciated the low-quality recording sound for their creative needs. Overall, the Coby CVR-22 Portable Cassette Recorder does not deliver satisfactory recording quality or user-friendly buttons for easy operation.
