**** Horizon Forbidden West for the PS4 has garnered a generally positive reception from players, who praise its stunning graphics, immersive world, and captivating storyline. Players have been impressed by the depth of the game’s lore and the engaging gameplay mechanics, which include exploration, combat, and crafting, making it a thrilling experience from start to finish. Many users have lauded the game's improvement over its predecessor, acknowledging its detailed environments and the allure of its post-apocalyptic setting populated by robotic creatures. The character of Aloy continues to resonate well with players, who appreciate her development and the emotional stakes throughout the game. Additionally, the sound design and musical score have received commendations for enhancing the atmosphere and enriching the gameplay. Despite the limitations of the PS4 hardware when compared to next-gen Consoles, the game still manages to deliver a visually arresting experience that many find satisfactory. However, some players did voice concerns regarding certain gameplay mechanics and pacing issues, feeling that some sections of the game may be slower than desired. Overall, Horizon Forbidden West stands as a commendable title in the action RPG genre, leaving most players eager for more adventures in Aloy's world. **
