    Respuesta: I checked both tanks I have, ones's VP racing (round), the other square Schneider Plastics both fit and both 5 gal. tanks so the answer is I don't know.. Sorry.

    Respuesta: It is the same size as the other gas cans I have, so I guess you could call it standard size. They don't measure circumference, they measure diameter. My guess is 5.5 inch
