Prosoco R-Guard Fast Flash is a great product for making a seal on OSB and is fantastic as flashing for areas where metal flashing does not work well. The product is paintable once cured, which takes about 2 hours, and can be exposed to UV and weather for up to 12 months. However, it is not to be used as a fire stop caulk. While it is versatile and can adhere to dry concrete, it doesn't bond well to wet concrete. While it could waterproof metal parts if prepped properly, it would be best to test the bond between the sealant and the metal first. Although it can be tooled after application, it may be challenging to spread over a large surface area. Therefore, users should ensure they have adequate tools for application.
