Its 890 Voices include detailed acoustic instruments, expressive electric tones and a wide range of synth textures, enhanced by Super Articulation Lite technology that recreates natural playing nuances such as guitar string noise and breath articulation. Complementing the sound engine are 345 accompaniment Styles across rock, jazz, dance, pop and world genres, supplying rhythmic, bass and chord backing that turns solo playing into a full ensemble experience. Real-Time Control for Expressive Performance The PSR-E583 places hands-on control at the center of its performance approach. Live Control Knobs allow real-time adjustment of tone-shaping parameters, while Pitch Bend and Modulation wheels add vibrato, rotary-style movement and smooth pitch transitions for expressive leads and solos. Yamaha’s Motion Effect button introduces dynamic effects such as phaser, tremolo and filter sweeps with a single press, and the Mega Boost function adds an instant +6dB volume lift—ideal for rehearsal or live performance situations where additional presence is needed. Smart Accompaniment and Creative Performance Tools Designed to encourage creativity without interrupting musical flow, the PSR-E583 includes Auto Chord Play, which automatically generates preset chord progressions so players can focus on melody, improvisation or sound exploration. Quick Sampling allows short phrases to be captured and triggered in sync with accompaniment Styles, while Yamaha’s DSP effects engine—with 41 DSP1 and 12 DSP2 effects—adds depth, movement and texture to both Voices and backing parts. Yamaha’s Rec’n’Share app makes it easy to capture and share performances, and the MIDI Song to Style app can convert compatible MIDI files into fully arranged Styles with intros, endings and fills.
