MSD Street Fire 5562 Spark Plug Wire Set

The MSD 5562 Street Fire Spark Plug Wire Set has garnered a largely positive reception from customers who have installed them in their vehicles, particularly those with older Chevy models. Reviewers frequently cite significant improvements in performance after upgrading to these wires, recommending them especially for enhancing the functionality of well-used engines. One user reported that after replacing their old 7mm wires, their Chevy 2500 with 140,000 miles felt like a brand new vehicle, experiencing smoother idling and notably better acceleration. While some users mentioned that fuel economy decreased—attributed to the newfound driving excitement—most were pleased with the overall boost to vehicle responsiveness. However, there are some concerns related to fitment with certain models. A few reviewers noted that the wires were too long for their late '90s Chevrolet trucks, and expressed frustration that the product didn't seem to fit as expected. Additionally, heat resistance has been mentioned in passing, but one customer felt the wires underperformed in this area compared to expectations. Overall, the MSD 5562 Street Fire Spark Plug Wire Set stands out as a strong option for older Chevy truck owners looking to enhance performance and reliability. When combined with quality spark plugs, many users believe this upgrade is worthwhile, despite some fitting issues for specific applications. **
