Introducing the Cen-Tec Systems 94698 Quick Click 10 Ft. Hose for Home and Shop Vacuums with Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set for Dust Collection in Silver. This versatile set is perfect for connecting a wide range of major power tool brands to your home shop vacuum, allowing you to recover debris and dust generated during tool use. The adapters in this set are designed to be compatible with most unique and industry-standard connections, ensuring a secure and reliable fit.
The inner collar features a durable acetal clip that connects directly to most brands of drywall sanders and other high-volume dust generating tools. For smaller power tool connections, the bayonet fitting with a soft TPE molded fitting is ideal. One of the standout features of this adapter set is the smooth 360-degree swivel rotation of the bayonet fitting. This ensures that the hose does not kink or resist the free movement of the power tool, allowing for a flawless and uninterrupted workflow.
Switching from the 1" fitting to a 1 ½" soft TPE fitting for chop saws and routers is a breeze with the quick click system. This expanded set also includes additional ¾" and 1-1/4" fittings to accommodate a variety of tool brands and shrouds. An air relief is designed into the bayonet fitting, allowing for adjustment of the air stream at the tool as needed to prevent tools from sealing to the work surface. The adapter set is compatible with all major brands of handheld and stationary power tools with an exhaust port. It is also designed to fit most major brands of power tool shrouds, including Skill, Bosch, Ryobi, Makita, Dewalt, Festool, Fein, Cobalt, Porter Cable, Hitachi, and Milwaukee Electric. Please note that this adapter set is only compatible with a 1-1/4" threaded crushproof hose and is not compatible with the included blow molded hose that ships with most shop vacuums. The Cen-Tec Systems 95248 Quick Click Expanded Multi-Brand Power Tool Adapter Set for Dust Collection is a useful tool for those wanting to keep their workspace dust-free. With the capability to fit major brands of home shop vacuums including Vacmaster, Ridgid, Craftsman, Dewalt and John Deere, this adapter set does its job perfectly. It can also work with any brands typical of the 2 ½" vacuum connection, with little or no modifications. Users may encounter problems with certain power tools mentioned in the FAQs, for example there is no adapter large enough for Hitachi miter saws, or the fit is not perfect with Festool vacuums, but otherwise, the product performs well in cutting down dust in the workspace. However, it is important to note that the hose is not antistatic and users have been zapped during use. Some users recommend wrapping the hose with conductive metal wire to prevent static shocks.
