The OMAX Compound Microscope comes with a camera that produces good-quality images. The dark field condenser can be installed by removing the bright field condenser under the stage, and the camera is compatible with Windows 10. There is no thread on the trinocular camera head, and the camera seems to work only with windows. In terms of reviews, the microscope received mixed feedback. While some people were very happy with the product, others had issues with the focus mechanism and the scratches on the lens. However, for the price, this microscope is unbeatable, according to another reviewer. The camera is good enough to last until college, and the optics are sharp. The auto-brightness function on the camera software is a little too eager, but using the manual gain setting solves this.
