The Louis Carpini G2 Clearance Violin Outfit is an upgrade from the G3 version and is known for its better tone quality and projection, having select maple and spruce tone woods. It is strung with professional steel-core D'Addario Prelude Strings. It includes everything the buyer needs, except a shoulder rest. The wood will shrink over time, but Carpini G2 will not shrink significantly given that it's made from aged-wood minimum of 5 years. The interior colour of the case can also be requested depending on the available ones. The violin has gained mostly positive reviews, with many customers praising its beautiful sound and excellent quality. However, it has encountered minor issues like poor-quality strings and others like the bow splitting after 18 months of casual use, which the customer service representative implied was normal.
