Frigidaire Ice Makers IM117000 Editorial Review
The Frigidaire IM117000 Top Mount Refrigerator Ice Maker Kit has garnered positive feedback from a majority of users, particularly highlighting its ease of installation and performance. Many customers have reported that they were able to install the ice maker themselves without the need for professional assistance, making it a convenient option for those who prefer a DIY approach. Reviewers noted that once installed, the ice maker operates effectively, producing a sufficient amount of ice for a smaller household, albeit with smaller ice cubes. While many users appreciate the value of the ice maker compared to the cost of a new refrigerator with a built-in unit, some customers did express concerns about the output capacity for larger families, suggesting it may not meet their needs during peak usage. Noise levels from the ice maker are minimal and only noticeable during specific operations like ice dumping or filling with water. However, a small number of reviews mentioned installation compatibility issues and damage to the freezer liner during setup. Overall, user experiences indicate that the Frigidaire IM117000 is a practical and reliable choice for those seeking to enhance their refrigerator with an affordable ice-making solution. **
