However, it does not check internal resistance, voltage rating, leakage rate, or capacitance as a function of frequency. The accuracy of this meter has been called into question, as it has been found to give inconsistent and erratic readings compared to a Fluke meter. Users have reported that it works for capacitors 1 microfarad or less, but above that, it is unreliable. The leads of this tester are short and difficult to plug and unplug, making it inconvenient to use. Overall, this meter may be useful for basic capacitance measurements, but for more accurate and reliable readings, it is recommended to invest in a higher-quality meter.
