The thinner doesn't emit any strong odor and can be used indoors with the windows open. It lightens up the color when mixed with the paint but after drying, it goes back to the original color tone. One customer had trouble with the product, leaving the paint slimy and clumpy. However, another customer has successfully used it with their Liquitex paint.
