Buyers should be aware that this track is for the Ready to Play (RTP) sets, which are battery-powered, and suitable for younger children, and not compatible with the Ready to Run (RTR) sets from previous years or the G-gauge track for battery-powered trains. The RTP set, including additional track and switches, can be used to expand and customize the train layout, and enough curved tracks come with the train set to create a nice oval. The track is of high quality and easy to assemble, arrange, and take apart. Extra cars cannot be purchased individually, but other Ready-to-Play sets can be combined for more train fun. Customers can buy as much extra track as they need for however much space they have.
