Respuesta: The curls are paper thin and don’t weigh much. I would estimate 200 to 250 curls per 1.8 lbs. This cheese is very flavorful and a little goes a long way. Hopefully you find this helpful. -

Respuesta: The Tete de Moine aka known as Monk's Head was delicious! It came vacuum sealed and needed to be refrigerated. It took us quite a while to finish it (I didn't realize how much 1.8 pound is...) So if you get this size make sure you have get-togethers planned so your family and friends can help you enjoy this treat! -

How do you take the rind off the cheese?
Respuesta: The cheese can be sliced in two, by removing the top, and then the rind can be removed by making a cut to a depth of 2cm all round. -

Respuesta: This is perishable so we ship it with ice packs and ship it by Fedex Priority overnight so that it arrives next day usually before Noon. A full round is usually from 1.8 lbs to 2.1 lbs in weight. -

Respuesta: They don't weigh much -- they are mostly air space. It depends how many turns of the girolle you make and how hard you press, how many you get from a wheel, but it is quite a few. I'm guessing about 30 per inch of wheel height. -

Respuesta: No, you have to purchase the shaver separately. Without that you cannot produce the “florets” of cheese. Worth it, they are delicious.!!
