This review reflects on the DGZZI 1PC ABS Plastic IP55 Waterproof Junction Box, a product that is designed for outdoor electrical connections. One customer mentioned how this box worked really well to keep moisture away from the wiring connections despite being installed in a wet environment due to its rubber gasket seal and rubber plugs to seal wires. Additionally, it was noted that the box is well-built and compact and has multiple outlet/inlet openings with flexible membrane material. Another customer used it to create a smart outdoor extension cord with a sonoff switch and extension cord and found it to be weatherproof and very effective in turning heating pads on during low temperatures. However, another customer’s experience was quite the opposite. They attached the box to the roof of their RV about a year and a half ago, but the lid became brittle from UV exposure and shattered in their hand. They deemed it to be not a quality product for outdoor use as it was not manufactured with UV-safe plastic.
