The E-Ring pack is versatile and can be used across all genres of music including jazz, blues and rock. When used, they produce a good sound which customers generally found helpful in terms of dampening drum overtones. One customer even claimed that if you didn't spend at least $5000 on your drums, these will make them sound like you did. However, some customers found that the dampening was minimal, but still better than playing without the rings.
