Blue Ox Tow Bars BX1122 Editorial Review
The Blue Ox BX1122 Base Plate receives high marks from users for its straightforward installation process and overall quality. Many customers report that the instructions are simple to follow and that all necessary components are included, making the installation manageable for those with basic technical skills. Users particularly appreciate the compatibility with various Jeep models, emphasizing that, despite minor variances between models, the base plate typically bolts right on without the need for extensive modification. One standout feature noted by several reviewers is the unobtrusiveness of the base plate once installed. Many users mention that the towing tabs can be removed, rendering the plate nearly invisible when not in use, which contributes positively to the vehicle's appearance. Feedback indicates that the installation can be completed within a few hours, often taking less than four, especially when supported by online videos. However, some customers highlight that while the installation process is generally easy, it requires a good level of technical skill, particularly when adapting to specific vehicle variations. Furthermore, drilling might be necessary for some models, but several users were able to install it without additional drilling, reflecting the variance in Jeep configurations. Overall, the Blue Ox BX1122 Base Plate garners strong recommendations due to its quality Construction, ease of installation, and aesthetic integration with the Jeep Liberty. **
