Made of machined 303 stainless steel, the 15% reduction pulley can increase power and engine response more than opting for a 17% pulley. It is recommended to use one step cooler spark plugs than the stock ones. Installation of the pulley can be a bit tricky, but it is a worthwhile upgrade with instant power when cruising on the highway without having to switch gears. The removal tool can make the installation easier. However, it should be noted that the pulley is specific to the first generation MINI Cooper S with an Eaton M45 supercharger and does not work with other models.
