The black color is ideal for dark indigo denim, but it is recommended to color match for lighter blue denim. It also works well with faux fur and is durable for that use. The product comes on a standard plastic spool without a hidden needle compartment. While it can be used for hand sewing with any size needle, it is not recommended for use with leather or with a 110/60 needle.
