The Matala Air Diffuser Tubing is a lightweight product that works great for pond and aquariums. It produces thousands of tiny bubbles to help keep fish healthy and promote healthy flora in ponds. One concern is the tubing's lightweight. It will float and needs to be weighed down to do its job. Be aware that this product is also not weighted, and so would be of little value in aquatic environments without modification. Its lightweight is also the reason why the tubing may let back water into the air line, which can damage the pump when used inappropriately. Nevertheless, the tubing is perfect for DIY projects. It's easy to cut and shape, which opens up a lot of options for creating unique designs, and can be combined with different parts to create a range of aquarium pieces.
