The Seatex Roto-Split is a semiautomatic cable cutter that is designed to ease the process of cutting bx or armored cable, NM-B, and UF-B cables. It is adjustable and cuts 10/4 to 12/2. This tool conforms to the cable but requires users to control how hard they grip it. The Seatex Roto-Split also comes with one blade and has a storage compartment for extra blades purchased separately. While the product has an excellent intention, it does not meet everyone's expectations. Some customers had difficulty using it and experienced accidents like nicking wires or applying too much pressure and cutting the internal cables. Plastic handles also slide off with little use, and the quality is not the highest. Overall, Seatex Roto-Split is not worthless, but it requires a lot of practice and care during usage. Hence it is better to purchase another pair of wire strippers or Crocs instead.
