The blade is excellently and durably made; it weighs only 8.3 oz and has a Granton edge that prevents sticking. The handle is well designed, fitting large hands well with a non-slip grip suitable for wet slicing. Kitchen owners are happy with its sharpness and its ability to slice effortlessly through everything. It's also dishwasher safe. The blade has an angle of 15 degrees and is sharp enough to hold a decent cut without regular refilling. For under $50, this knife is an excellent value; it's ideal for home cooks, but professional chefs can also find a use for it.
