The hook to hook distance is 4 ft. 8 in. fully extended and 1 ft. 11 in. fully contracted, which means that the maximum pull length is only 4 feet and the product is mostly suitable for small tasks. The product is made in Taiwan, and the quality, durability and grip are overall good. The reverse mechanism is flimsy and the release button may break easily. The product may be used to pull bush-like trees and may be effective with multiple wraps around the base.
