History Editorial Review
The Arts: A Visual Encyclopedia is a beautiful and educational book that covers a broad arc of art and music history. The hardcover design allows it to lay flat and the overall quality of the book is impressive. While it includes sections on dance, the majority of the content focuses on visual arts and music. The font size and sentence structure make it age appropriate for younger readers. However, some readers may have preferred more in-depth coverage of visual art and architecture. Overall, it is a great addition to any homeschool or art enthusiast's library.
