The Edge Hardware Design EHWD Premium Drum Throne NE1 is a lightweight yet sturdy alternative to traditional drum thrones. It features an aluminum spider with six screws attaching it to a 9 mm plywood base, which can be adjusted to a maximum height of 25 inches. The memory foam, which is both comfortable and soft, makes long sessions comfortable. The spin to adjust feature is a fantastic addition. However, the stability of the throne is questionable, as some customers reported breaking the stem, and one even fell backward onto the floor because of a threaded coupler that had come loose. Despite the flaws, it is a great throne for the price, and it suits those who do not play for extended periods.
