ICON Windows & Skylights Editorial Review

The ICON RV Skylight is a quality, sturdy product that is easy to install and fits perfectly in most RVs. The smoke is lightly tinted, which lets more light into the bathroom and allows for a clear view outside. The skylight is thicker and sturdier than the original, so it's less likely to crack. However, some customers have complained that the smoke tint is too light and lets in too much heat, and wished they had ordered the white color. It's a good idea to double-check the measurements to ensure a proper fit as there is no molded frame available for this purpose. Some customers have had to cut and reglue the TPO surrounding the opening, so it lays flat. Most customers recommend purchasing two skylights, one for the inside, and one for the roof of the RV, to create an air space, which must be framed securely and sealed at both skylights. Overall, the ICON RV Skylight is a great quality product and a recommended purchase.
