The instrument operates optimally in ambient temperatures ranging from 5°C to 35°C, and can measure temperatures from 0.0°C to 70.0°C. Calibration of the refractometer is a breeze, as it requires distilled water and a glass standard with a refractive index of 1.5163 nD (with bromonaphtalene contact liquid). The prism is made of high-quality optical glass, ensuring accurate and reliable readings. The prism housing is constructed from SUS316 stainless steel, making it durable and resistant to corrosion. Weighing just 7 lbs (3 kg) and measuring 190 x 90 x 250 mm, this refractometer is compact and portable.
