The Kumo Touch MHK2 RedLINK Wireless Thermostat & Receiver Kit is a great addition to the Mitsubishi Mini Split system as it offers much better temperature accuracy than the built-in temperature sensors. However, it is important to note that this piece is not Wi-Fi capable and needs to connect to the Kumo Wi-Fi interface module (PAC-USWHS002-WF-2) to gain cloud functionality. It is also important to keep in mind that each head unit requires its own MHK2 thermostat, and fan speed cannot be set for each period. Nevertheless, the MHK2 is easy to operate and makes a big difference in the accuracy and usability of the Mini Split system. The installation is doable if one refers to YouTube videos that are specific to their indoor unit. The discrepancy in price from other programmable thermostats in the market may not be worth it for some customers.
