The windmill does not extract water from a well nor can it be used as a water pump, but there is an aeration kit available for small ponds. The blades are made of bronze and the base measures 45" diagonal and 32" from leg to leg square. The windmill comes with 4 ground stakes measuring 29.5" long. The manufacturing of the windmill is done in Asia, while the replacement parts are made in Texas, U.S.A. The assembly process is difficult due to the vague instructions and absence of hardware, but many customers have found it satisfactory after putting some effort into assembling it. It is also sturdy enough to withstand wind and other weather elements. A few customers have had issues such as the crack in the wheel and the pressure-fitted tail, but most are happy with their purchase.
