The Stohlquist Edge PFD is a Type III personal flotation device designed for paddlers. It offers freedom of movement and comfort for continuous wear. The max weight for the wearer is not mentioned but comes in three sizes: SM/MD, LG/XL, and XXL. A medium-sized dry bag is enough to safely carry it. It has a nice design, a big front pocket with lots of armroom for paddling, and a mango color that leans more on the yellow scale. The PFD works great with sprayskirts, and it is a suitable life-saving device for tubing. However, it is not designed for a beginner in the ocean for snorkeling needs or for non-swimmers. Customers have different experiences with the PFD; some said it's excellent and well worth the money, and others found it turtled up a little when they sat down, was not comfortable, or did not fit well, causing it to ride up. It's better to check the size chart before purchasing. Some reviewers recommended that women look for women's PFDs because they are more comfortable and better in design than regular ones. However, it is a well-made PFD, cheaper than similar competitors, and great for whitewater or all-around use.
