It features a two-pound residual pressure valve that maintains at least a minimum brake line pressure to eliminate excessive pedal travel. The valve makes sure that fluid does not flow back unnecessarily and cause brake drag. The 10-pound valve is used with drum brakes to maintain wheel cylinder sealing in the drums. The residual pressure valves are made of billet aluminum and come color-coded to simplify identification. The valves with fittings come supplied with two 1/8-27 NPT to 3/-24 inverted flare female fittings that will fit most domestic 3/16th hard brake lines.
