Are the Campagnolo Ergo PR 11S Brake Hoods compatible with other brands?

The Campagnolo Ergo PR 11S Brake Hoods are specifically designed to fit Campagnolo's 11-speed braking systems, thus ensuring seamless integration and functionality. While they might physically fit on some other brands, such as Shimano or SRAM, performance may be compromised. For the best performance, it's advisable to use these hoods with appropriate Campagnolo systems, guaranteeing optimal braking efficiency and safety.

How do I install the Campagnolo Ergo PR 11S Brake Hood?

Installing the Campagnolo Ergo PR 11S Brake Hood involves removing the current hoods from your brake levers and sliding the new hoods into place. Can I replace just one Campagnolo brake hood or do I need to replace both?

While it is possible to replace a single Campagnolo brake hood, it is generally recommended to replace both for uniformity in performance and aesthetics. Mixing old and new hoods may lead to inconsistencies in feel and grip, impacting brake usage. Ensuring both sides are new can provide a balanced and reliable braking experience, particularly in demanding conditions.

How do the Campagnolo Ergo PR 11S Brake Hoods perform in wet conditions?

The Campagnolo Ergo PR 11S Brake Hoods are designed with a focus on performance in various weather conditions, including rain. The Campagnolo Ergo PR 11S Brake Hoods are primarily designed for road cycling enthusiasts. While they can technically be fitted on some mountain bike setups, their best performance is achieved in road scenarios.
