The pens work perfectly fine on ceramics. Per the FAQ, the pens need to lay flat, shaken enough to remix the contents before reusing them, and the felt tips might be fraying from repeated use. One reviewer suggested checking the paint label and making sure it can go in the oven at the temperature the pens need to cure first for use on terra cotta pots. However, they might need to seal them first with a matte finish clear coat or something similar. The pens received mixed reviews from customers, but the majority of them were positive.
