The improved fog-elimination system features a robust PowerPod battery pack, which is equipped with a push-button switch and repositioned near the back of the head for snag-free operation. Besides, its advanced technology provides constant fan speeds and an Auto-off timer, shutting down the fan system to preserve battery life if you accidentally left it on.
With water-resistant casing, these goggles are suitable for all-weather operation. The Profile Turbofan goggles are designed to ensure maximum impact protection and 100% UVA/UVB filtration with its extra-thick, 2.8mm polycarbonate lenses. Enjoy the optimal combination of anti-scratch coatings on the outside of the lenses and anti-fog coatings on the inside with ESS' advanced Clear Zone FlowCoat lens treatments. The ESS Eyewear Profile Turbofan Goggles are highly regarded as the best goggles on the market. They are perfect for airsoft and provide excellent impact protection. The goggles do not fit with glasses, but ESS sells Rx inserts that can be easily attached. They offer good protection against fluids and chemicals, though gas or fumes may still be able to get through. The battery pack does not interfere with the fit of the goggles when used with a Combat Vehicle Crewman Helmet. However, there have been reports of the wires chafing and eventually shorting out, rendering the fan useless. In terms of color, the Foliage Green goggles are actually more like a desert tan. Overall, these goggles are highly recommended for their performance and fog-reducing capabilities.
