Amagi Brilliant Park is a wonderfully unique show with zany work place comedy and fantasy elements that spices it up. It tells the story of a former child actor, Seiya Kanie, who is reluctantly tasked to save an amusement park, Amagi Brilliant Park, from closing. The park is run by beings from another world whose survival depends on drawing crowds and feeding off the visitors' happiness. But the park is failing, and it needs Kanie's help to survive, and Kanie is in for an amusing ride. This show has excellent character designs and storytelling, with a detailed artwork that is typical of Kyoto Animation's work. They are one of Japan's best anime studios, and this anime ranks among their best. It has a worthy storyline with a successful balance of humor and emotion that creates a moving yet entertaining experience.
