Respuesta: The tippet size depends on the size hook you are using. A 5 wt single handed rod can use hooks sizes from a#18 to a #6 hook. Check online for a tippet chart and print it out. 3X tippet for hook sizes 6, 8, 10. 4X tippet for hook sizes 12, 14, 16. 5X tippet for hook sizes 14, 16, 18. -

How does this tippet do on presentations?
Respuesta: As good as Rio Power Flex - just significantly stronger. Trout don't shy from leaders, just unnatural fly movements. Most drag is eliminated through proper casting and mending - not a brand of leader. Use Power-Flex Plus to minimize break offs and to fight fish efficiently ensuring a safe and healthy release.
