The Cane Creek Headsets Forty Complete is a headset that converts a straight 1 1/8” steerer tube to hold a tapered fork by moving the bottom bearing outside the frame to have more room. The cups of the headset are pressed into the frame and measure 44mm. The product comes with cups, bearings, star nut, crown race, and the stem cap. However, spacers need to be purchased separately. The product is suitable for frames with an inside diameter of 44mm and is likely to fit on a Raleigh M-80 if the internal diameter of its head tube is 44mm. If the head tube is 40mm and fork is 28.6, customers are advised to contact Cane Creek for advice due to the many variables with head tube and fork steerer combinations.
