Hellwig Helpers Editorial Review

The Hellwig 986 EZ Level Helper Spring Kit has garnered positive feedback from customers who appreciate the ease of installation and the noticeable improvements in vehicle handling and ride quality. Many users report that the installation process is straightforward, with the majority completing the setup in about 30 minutes. Key tips shared by customers include the use of penetrating oil on original u-bolts, taking sufficient time during installation, and ensuring even adjustment of new u-bolts. Once installed, the helper springs effectively addressed common issues among truck owners, such as squatting when towing heavy loads and excessive bouncing in the front end when adjusted correctly. Customers have expressed satisfaction with the product's ability to maintain or enhance ride quality, whether loaded or unloaded, while also providing a slight lift in the rear of the vehicle. Some users noted the need for additional tools due to the condition of existing u-bolts, which can complicate the installation process, but even those who encountered minor challenges still found the springs to meet their expectations. Overall, the Hellwig 986 EZ Level Helper Spring Kit is highly recommended for those looking to improve their truck’s performance, particularly when carrying loads. Customers appreciate the balance it strikes between enhancing load capacity and maintaining everyday driveability. **
