It is a product of the USA, made from hard maple, and safe for children. The teether has a sloped design that allows babies to rub and gnaw on their sore gums, and it doubles as a toy for babies to hit on things. It is okay to use for babies that are starting to get their teeth, typically between 5-6 months. Cleaning the teether with soap and water or wiping it down with a damp cloth is enough, and boiling water won't achieve sterilization. Some customers found the product a bit steeply priced, but overall they found the product nice and smooth, easy to handle, and a great natural alternative to plastic teethers.
