The Extech DL150 True RMS 110V AC VoltageCurrent Datalogger is a versatile and accurate device for monitoring voltage levels and current usage. The data can be captured using current clamps or gator clip probes for each leg and collected by connecting the device to a computer through USB. One can specify the sampling rate and overwrite older data automatically. The DL150 can be used to troubleshoot problems related to power supply and check power Consumption. The software is functional but not very modern. The clamps may be too small for larger wire sizes that carry higher amperage, but the device is suitable for measuring the allowable amperage that the DL160 is rated to measure. The range of the DL150 is limited and it may inaccurately display data over time. The device is not mobile-operated and can only be used by connecting it to a laptop. The unit works with Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11, but not with Linux. The DL150 does not have Wi-Fi capabilities and does not have a scope view. The RGA process for replacing a defective unit is cumbersome and time-Consuming, and the product tech support is not very helpful.
