The seat is 16.5 inches from the ground and works well with a Sitz bath. However, it may not be possible to swap to a larger seat. Reviewers have found that it is a game-changer for boondocking and adds comfort to tent camping. Although some have experienced issues with loose bag retaining rings, burrs, and loose paper roll holders, it is generally sturdy, easy to clean, and comes with a carrying bag.
