Extech Test Probes & Leads Editorial Review
The Extech TP400 Type K High Temperature Pipe Clamp Probe is a tool used for checking super-heat and sub-cooling in HVAC systems. The product has received mixed reviews from customers, with some happy with its accurate temperature readings, while others have complained about the low-quality plastic handle, which broke after a few uses, rendering the product almost useless. Some customers have had issues with the clamp wires separating or the product breaking within a short time of use. While some find the product useful, it is clear that the handle is the weakest and most problematic part of the product.
