The VIZIO V-Series 2.0 Compact Sound Bar is a budget-friendly option for those looking for a basic upgrade from their TV speakers. The soundbar comes with a wireless subwoofer that can be controlled independently through the remote control. The satellite speakers connect with 15-foot wires and have threaded mounts that come with them for mounting on walls. The soundbar itself can't be mounted on a TV and doesn't have a direct dialogue adjustment in Direct Mode. Volume levels are displayed on the TV only when TV speakers are on, but the remote control has a backlit display. While the sound is clear and powerful, it is not great or epic, and the tinny surround speakers may be immersion-breaking for some listeners.
