What is the purpose of the AMES 1554300 Long Handle Round Point Shovel?

The AMES 1554300 Long Handle Round Point Shovel is designed for digging, lifting, and moving soil, gravel, or other materials. Its rounded point allows it to penetrate harder ground, making it an excellent choice for various landscaping, gardening, and construction projects. Whether you're planting trees, creating garden beds, or doing excavation work, this shovel is versatile for both amateur gardeners and professional landscapers.

The AMES 1554300 features a long handle typically ranging between 48 to 60 inches, providing excellent leverage for digging tasks. The blade is designed for optimal performance with a rounded point ideal for breaking up tough soil. This combination of size and heft makes it suitable for prolonged use during extensive gardening or digging efforts.

Is the handle of the AMES 1554300 Long Handle Round Point Shovel made of wood or fiberglass?

The AMES 1554300 Long Handle Round Point Shovel features a durable fiberglass handle, which is known for its strength and resistance to splitting. This shovel excels in landscaping and gardening tasks rather than demolition of hard surfaces.

How should I maintain my AMES 1554300 Long Handle Round Point Shovel?

To maintain your AMES 1554300, clean it after each use with a stiff brush and water to remove soil and debris.
