Allocacoc Power Strips Editorial Review
The Allocacoc PowerCube Rewirable USB is a travel adapter with 4 sockets and 2 USB ports, however, it does not convert voltage. The USB ports provide 5V for charging on any voltage. Customers have used it in various countries, including the US and Indonesia, but it may not work well for some electronic equipment in Japan. The adapter is a little bulky to carry around and hard to keep plugged into the wall outlet with other items plugged in. One customer reported that the adapter started smoking and almost caught on fire. Another customer reported poor customer service and an exploding adapter. Some customers did not like that the adapters were not clearly labeled. Overall, most customers found the product to be useful and worked perfectly for their trip.
