The Fallen Angels novel "Possession" by J.R Ward is the fifth book in this series about the ongoing battle for the souls of humans at a crossroads of life. The book follows Cait, an artist, children's book illustrator, and college professor who finds herself attracted to two different men at the same time, and Jim, Adrian, Sissy, and Devina. It is an action-packed fantasy novel with multiple POVs and a great storyline with plenty of twists and turns. While the romance is present, it is sometimes overshadowed by the other events, and it takes the heroine Cait a long time to make up her mind who she truly wants to be with. The reader has to wait until two-thirds of the way through the story to find out who is the hero. The two men who catch Cait's eye are attractive but very different. G.B is a talented musician, charming but flakey, while Duke is a bouncer at a club, handsome but arrogant. The other part of the story involves Jim, Adrian, Sissy, and Devina, with ongoing battles and the ultimate goal of saving souls. Overall, "Possession" is a good addition to the series, but it may not be the best.
